He flipped the overhead light on and she gave him a withering look. He took a step inside the bedroom.

"You are more stubborn than my prize bull. Jocelyn, come to bed. I know you are angry, but you are not sleeping in here. You belong in our bed."

Jocelyn gave no indication that she was even hearing him. Liam turned and closed the bedroom door. Jocelyn listened as he walked closer to her and she heard him unbuckle his belt. Liam never used a belt, not ever. He had threatened to if things did not change before, but he never had to resort to it. Her muscles tightened. Her body tensed. Her breath stilled. And then Liam sighed.

He threw the covering back and grabbed her up, laying her across the bed. He lifted her gown. Jocelyn did not wear panties to bed. The sudden truth of the moment put Jocelyn in a panic. She thrashed around to get away from her husband and then when she felt the first lash of the belt she stilled.

It's been an awfully long time since I have shared but I promise I have been writing. I found word sprints with friends to be very VERY helpful. No, it's not an app. It's actually a group or duo of authors doing what we do best - turning off the internet and typing. Anyhow, this is very raw and isn't finished yet. (Which is why it is a working work in progress)

I am an extremely slow writer and I have had plots and characters stolen. The best overview I can give is that Gretchen is a television writer, submissive, and Tristan the hunky actor is a Dominant. Working title is 'Tryst's  Girl'.

Gretchen nearly dropped the creamer in her hand but recovered quickly. “Did you, uh, just say you followed me with the sole purpose of spanking me?”


“Mmhm.” Tristan stood to accept his mug then sank back into the couch. “Does that surprise you?”

“I haven't been in a relationship, discipline or otherwise in a while. Writing takes up so much of my time, that I kind of let my needs slip,” she sucked in another breath, something she felt she would be doing a lot around him from now on.

She didn't need to be babbling to him about her needs!

“Bring your coffee over here and sit back down.” Tristan inclined his head to the right side of the couch. “I want to hear what else you've been neglecting to do for yourself.”
 

Oh, God. He sounded very much like a Dom she used to know and his words made her lower regions clench, in a good way. Too good, she remembered.
 

“You're not my Dom, “she finally sputtered out in between the war going on in her head, to sit by him or to stand awkwardly by the tiny counter where the coffee lived. Both sides held appeal so she kind of stood in the middle, watching him.
 

“While I'm extremely flattered by your deduction skills, I said nothing about being yours,” he got up and met the distance between them. “When I first got on set, you weren't this bundle of nerves. What happened?”


“Why do you even give a-”


His hand shot out, took her hand in his, then firmly placed her palm over her mouth.

 
“We don't have rules. This was a one-time, see what happens when you poke the bear meeting. If that's all you want then continue spouting an attitude.” Tristan brought his free hand from his side, traced it up her thigh, over her hip, and finally rested it at her waist.



Gretchen felt her heart skip a beat as his huge green eyes stared at her. This can't be happening! She blinked, but he still stood there, mere inches away.

 
Geesh, why was she having a fan-girl moment now after months of working with him? It wasn't his actor status, no, it was the realization he would not hesitate to spank her when she bratted off.
