So, sorry for the quiet. It feels like I was gone a month rather than a few days. So....over at Fondler's Anonymous I was listed as one of the other lovely blogs. *grins* Here are 7 more things that you may not know about me:
Could just slip this on MDK's chair. :) |
9. I have what I call light ADD tendencies. See above. I will start cleaning the kitchen floor, stand up to grab something from the hallway and start vacuuming the hallway, turn to go to the bathroom and wind up cleaning the toilet. I'll continue to do that until I'm back in the kitchen wondering why the floor is still dirty. It sounds funny this way but I wind up getting overwhelmed again. It eventually all gets done but this is reason 5,296 why I asked MDK for a schedule.
10. My role of a lifetime if I ever got to Broadway would be Lucy from Jekyll and Hyde. I sometimes wish I had pursued stage but I have terrible stage fright BEFORE the performance. :) I even passed out once before a big choir concert. I'm fine when I get there but before hand, not so much!
11. I have a hard time asking for what I want. This probably makes a lot of sense to all of you! I do have goals and once I get them in my mind I will stop at nothing to reach them even if it takes a long time.
12. I recently found out that even the most put together woman has some insecurity about the way she looks, acts, raises her children, ect. I was talking to a co-worker and I stated, "...but you're so put together." She laughed until she almost cried and said, "I always think the same about you." I was utterly amazed since I always feel like I am running out of the house looking like a slob- toothpaste on my collar or deodorant stain on the bottom of my shirt or grease or something! It's all about perception and I firmly believe women are so much stronger then they think!
13. I sometimes wonder if I'm secretly living in a reality tv show and no one has bothered to tell me. I've had so much bad luck lately that I seriously think that someone is trying to increase ratings. No, seriously.
14. I firmly believe in karma. What you put out comes back to you three-fold. I grew up in a super religious childhood and many of the people I ran into were hypocritical. Treat others the way you want to be treated. After stating that I seriously wonder what I could have done in a past life to deserve the mountain of crap that has been burying me as of late. Positive reaps positive....and so on and so forth.
*blink* I've made a whole post about me that has nothing to do with spanking. Anyhow, please please check out the lovely blogs on my must read list and my blog of the month. This month it is Stormy's blog. I do enjoy so many and am constantly adding to my list. Be sure to check them out!
I have lots of happy things to post about including how the schedule has been going and what's up with me. So please enjoy my ramblings! Happy Sunday.
Fondly,
Adaline
Thanks for sharing more tidbits! I have that slight ADD thing going too! I have to set timers when I clean the house to keep me focused. I think motherhood and smart phones have made it worse!!
ReplyDelete#14 is my favorite. My family wasn't that religious but I went to Catholic school through high school and the things I saw totally turned me off religion. I believe in Karma and the golden rule and if anybody asks I say I am a spiritualist.
ReplyDeleteWe all have peaks and valleys. Your tide will turn soon. Have a good week
Renee!!!! I just submitted a form request to Blushing Books. Cross your fingers, let's see if they like me. *hugs* I hope, I hope, I hope!!!! I'm up to 17K and I took all of your suggestions. WOOT WOOT WOOT!
ReplyDeleteSunnygirl: It's funny because I did too and I didn't want to point fingers but I really did see and hear a lot of things that don't settle well with me. I'm not against any type of religion it's just that I saw many people around me say that they accept you - unless you are this way, or that. I like the idea of a spiritualist. That appeals to me alot. You have a good week as well!
Yay-- I'm so excited for you! If you don't hear after a couple days, just send an email over, because I think sometimes they don't check the submissions. Woot woot!
DeleteTo join in the other conversation, I totally believe in instant karma, too. I think our energy attracts the same to itself.
I wish instant karma happened to some people. :)
DeleteAnd thank you, I will do that!
thanks!! and you know number 9? hahah that's me too. I start to wash dishes and before anyone knows it i'm on a chair clearing up old blankets on the top on my wardrobe. No wonder I say I have no time to do anything...
ReplyDeleteLOL FA...I totally and completely feel you on that especially today! :P
Deleteand be sure to tell us about Blushing books so we can go purchase and support you!
DeleteOf course. I submitted most of my story. Keep your fingers crossed! ;)
Delete#12 really spoke to me. It's so true. Why is it that so many of us will thing the worst of ourselves. I am so guilty of this!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my blog! I know, it seems like I hear this sort of thing all the time. :D
DeleteThanks for sharing, I understand number 8, although I usually kick my own ass and just get it done. :D
ReplyDeleteNo, 11 see my last post.
No 12, yeah I am starting to understand that just because somebody looks like they have it all, doesn't mean it is true and no 14, yes! We just heard from somebody we used to friends with, but he has changed so much and is so selfish, karma just bit him in the ass big time!
Hey Julia. :D
DeleteYes, and yes I will. I think a lot of the things I posted here we all go through...women maybe more than men. I have a relative on MDK's side that is SO selfish and arrogant but karma is no where to be found....
Well karma will do it, no worries. Just sit back and watch the show!
DeleteI enjoyed reading more things about you and all the best with the Book publishing at Blushing Books! Hugs
ReplyDeleteThank you Slightly Naughty!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me. :P *hugs*
DeleteHi Adaline! It was fun learning more about you. I think that's really neat you're into theater. I love to watch, but can't dance or sing. Ah well! I do like voice-over. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Riley! I always wondered what it would be like to do something with voices. It makes me think of Mrs. Doubtfire- "I do voices." :)
DeleteYour blog looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd Number 12- I totally agree with.
:)
Thank you Poppy! I know what you mean *grins*
